Armenian Cathedral is the first stop to show the history and the architectureb of Lviv. There is unique combination of medieval architecture, frescos by famous Rosen and rich Armenian heritage in Lviv

I love this church. It may not have the ornate furnishings of other Ukrainian orthodox churches but the ambience is stunning.
The outside Rennaisssance cloisters/courtyard are being rennovated. Note the flagstones are actually some of the gravestones from the relocated cemetry. Marvel at the frescoes created by Jan Henryk Rosen and Józef Mehoffer. For me, a wonderful experience everytime I visit.

Well-hidden bit still visible, this church is very impressive. The paintings on the walls of the 20th century remind of the art nouveau style and are so unusual for a place like that. The atmosphere is calm and unique. There is no official fee, though you are encouraged to donate money for the restoration of the place. Must-visit if you are in Lviv.

Quiet space, very different from other churches on this Easter Sunday. Very different interior art from the Baroque Catholic and other churches around. I didn’t pay to take photos as no one was checking :)

Not much striking from the outside (you can pass the church without noticing it) but full of beauty inside. This little church has a splendidly decorated ceiling and the walls have wonderful colourful paintings, especially the ones on the left when you enter.
Entrance is free, you only pay a small amount (5 UAH) of you want to take photos or (7 UAH) for videotaping.
Definitely worth a visit - all the churches in Lviv are beautiful, but this one has a special atmosphere.
