My partner and I stayed here for a week which was for my 30th Birthday. My partner had booked through Tui and even though our experience with Tui was not great our stay couldn’t have been made more comfortable by our wonderful hosts.

We had the ground floor apartment which didn’t offer the best view as it was restricted by trees and the building in front but we made the most of it and were not overlooked by anyone which was nice.

Our hosts were wonderful bringing us fresh fruit from their garden and other items.

The apartment is around 20 minutes from the old town, although it is further up the hillside and so there is either walking up or down the hill via the slope or via the many many steps. We found that the walk via the road was better than the steps.

There are local shops nearby for groceries and the apartment does have things to cook with but we did find some things missing such a oven racks or baking trays which made the the overnight unusable.

Towels are provided and they couldn’t have done more to make our stay the best possible.

Would highly recommend staying here, although would recommend going through them directly rather than through Tui.

Would definitely go back.

We had the best stay at Sipa Apartments. We had apartment E for the two of us. Absolutely amazing view! We had complimentary beer and wine, the hosts were very kind and attentive. We were given grapes from their garden and extra supplies. It was a pleasure to stay here and worth every $$$$$ - we'd love to come back!

It was great to be able to escape the cluster of tourists in old town and enjoy the views of the Dubrovnik coast line from the comfort of our balcony. Old town is easily accessible with a 15-20min walk. There's is a local supermarket about 5mins from sipa apartments too.

Sipa apartments are located close to and looking over the old city of Dubrovnik. The hosts, Marija and Bozo Letunic, could not do enough for us to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The apartment is very comfortable and well equipped, with a full bathroom/shower and kitchen/diner with a separate living room allowing access to the balcony which overlooks the island of Lokrum. Spent a lot of time on the balcony watching the coming and goings of sea craft of all shapes and sizes, very relaxing. There is also a separate, covered, outside dining area big enough to accommodate a family of four.
The apartment is in an elevated position a twenty minute walk (downhill) from the old city with shops and restaurant aplenty!! There are steps down at various places along the street leading down to the old city and we found the best way was to use the steps for going down and the road coming back, as we are not spring chickens anymore!!
There are plenty of food shops within a short distance of the apartment and there's a Lidl a ten minute drive away.

The apartment was very comfortable with a spacious living room and bedroom. The kitchen had all you would need and the shower worked perfectly. Add in the wifi and we were well set up. The apartment is less than one mile to the old city. Although the walk back is uphill, it is easily manageable for anyone with reasonable fitness.

However, the main selling point of the apartment is the view. I can not adequately describe just how magnificent it is. You are set nicely back with a panoramic view of the sea and the island of Lokrum. The old city- which is awesome- is to the right. We spent hours out on the balcony, at breakfast and also with a glass of wine in the evening. Seriously, it is superb.

The apartment owners, Bozo and Maruska, live in the apartment below. They are delightful people. Attentive without being obtrusive.

Other selling points are that you are close to the cable car and the bus stop for the bus back to the airport.

I can not recommend this place highly enough and we will return

Let me start by saying that Bozo and Maruska are wonderful hosts. They were genuinely interested in ensuring that we were enjoying our stay and that we had everything we needed (even saving us from disaster when at the airport we realized we had forgotten our mobile phone. Bozo went above and beyond by delivering it to us moments before we boarded our plane home!)
When we arrived they had a welcome gift of beer, wine and juice waiting. They also shared grapes and figs from their garden and were more than happy to offer up tips for navigating Dubrovnik. The apartment itself (we stayed in apartment F -two bedrooms, one bath) has absolutely incredible views of the Old Town, Lokrum Island and the Adriatic Sea. Watching the sunsets from our balcony was one of the highlights of our trip. The furniture was trendy and new and the kitchen was adequately stocked. The latter allowed us to prepare meals using fresh ingredients from the farmers market in the Old Town.
Overall we loved our time here and would highly recommend staying here!

Summary of enjoyable amenities this apartment offered included: large balcony (with both shaded and sunny areas for lounging), multiple dinning areas/tables (inside and out) with a view, washing machine, blow dyer, kitchen stocked with dishes/utensils/pots pans/salt and pepper, convenience store within 2-3 mins walking distance, close proximity to Old Town (10-15 mins walking distance) and access for swimming in the sea (5-10 mins walking distance), immaculately clean!
