This place is to the right of the Diocletian Palace when facing inland from the promenade. It covers quite a large area and gets very busy as the locals shop here. The stalls sell fruit /vegetables clothes/ and all the usual market stuff plus a bit of the inevetiable tourist tat. We shopped for fruit and what we bought was of high quality and very reasonably priced. You need to watch out for sudden changes in level as the surface is ia bit up and down and be aware that on a hot day it is going to be a hot place to be, as there is no shade - plenty of people selling drinks though.
On our last day we bought some home made cheese from a little elderly lady selling only a few cheeses and courgettes - the cheese was exceptional - shame our 5'7" "housemouse" knicked most of it but cheese is her thing .
As to Tg Brac Radic itself - I would not bother there is nothing much there but the nearby fish market is worth a look

A super way to get to see the old town, meet some nice locals and get great local fruit. The cherries are divine. Dried plums are also a specialty. Goes all day so no rush.

This Square gets it's name from the women who used to set up stalls on the square to sell their fruit and vegetables. There are a number of shops, restaurants/cafes, the Venetian Tower, Milesi Palace and monument to Marko Marulić . I read that the Square bustles with activity, other than our walking group there were not many others present.

This Tripadvisor listing mixes up two locations, a city square and a fruit/veg market. Even though they are just a couple of minutes on foot from each other, they are definitely not the same.
The square (named in the title, Trg braće Radić or Voćni trg) is nothing special, with just 2-3 tourist trap restaurants, a small bookshop and a bank. Despite the common name which does translate to "Fruit Square", it is not a place to buy fresh fruit.
The market (shown in most of the pictures and called Pazar) is immediately east of the old town. It is a famous and lively place full of locals buying and selling excellent fresh fruit and vegetables.
