Stayed here two nights while waiting to start a NCL Panama Canal cruise. Paid $47 per night after doing one of those Priceline bid things. Overall, for what I paid, I guess am satisfied… with the big exception of not having hot water in my room. As of this writing, my room (and apparently my whole wing) has no hot water. It isn’t fixed yet, and they are fully booked and cannot move me to another room.
The staff was friendly and helpful, not their fault about the hot water.
I recommend if you book here, be sure to ask for a pool-side room. These rooms have balconies and great views of the water and ships. My room was clearly (again, get what you pay for) one if their least appealing rooms, at the very end of a side wing, no balcony, and looking out over a service road, right above the buffet.
Also, the hallways and rooms are all tile (expected in a climate like this) and the echoing and too-frequent slams of doors, footsteps and conversations might be an annoyance for some.
Other than the hot water and the hallway noise, my room was nice. The bed was comfortable, they provided two bottles of water per day. I agree with the many about the need for some updating. The a/c worked fine but was pretty loud and kicked in and off through the night.

The actual hotel location is great for cruises, walking distance to the ship, but the trade off is that there isn’t much else here. A TGIF and a few restaurants.More
