I took a private City Tour of San Salvador my first weekend on a Sunday with Salvadorean Tours for $99. They offer better group rates based on size of group. The City Tour included Plaza La Libertad which located right across from Iglesia El Rosario, so I was able to kill two birds with one stone. From what I saw, it is a plaza full of homeless people, in fact while my guide and I were talking, we were interrupted by an intoxicated man. I didn't feel comfortable hanging in the plaza after that and I didn't find it to be a must see even though it is the vicinity of Iglesia El Rosario. Hopefully you will have a more positive experience. Happy Travels!!!!
