It is a great idea to have all the various architectural styles of the country in one location. Not only is it convenient, but also helps you contrast the different styles against each other and thus, appreciate the nuances.

If you wish to see the progress of Romanian dwellings over the past 3 centuries, this is the place to go!

There are replicas if various regional houses and you can actually enter some of them and see what they were like back in the day!

When you want to understand the roots of Romanians you go where: to the dedicated village museum, full of knowledge, legacy, inspiration, colors, mix of textures and styles, all settle for many years in a nice cossy Park, by the lake, perfect for romantic walks, family time sharing and that's just a tinny bit of it. Go and enjoy!

This is a very nice place to visit with your family, friends, partner or even alone, especially if you want a nice, quiet place where you can read a book or draw something. It feels like taking a stroll in the park while also visiting traditional houses from different parts of Romania's villages. However, depending on the season, not all of them are opened so you will have to keep that in mind before you decide whether or not you buy the ticket. I recommend visiting this place, especially on a sunny day.

There are over 100 houses in this museum with explanatory text on each one. It’s interesting at first but soon descends into being just too much and samey. This museum needs a bit of editing.

But for about 15 lei entry fee it was pretty ok.
