We happened to visit on a day that 8000 people joined forces and marched past the ministerial buildings-very lively and noisy, but peaceful protest as there were lots of police keeping close control of the situation.

This building is conveniently located and should be viewed by travelers. Hopefully, as the years of democracy continue onward, this building will take on greater significance.

Located in the centre of the city this is another stunning building to take in on a tour.

Pretty impressive and a fantastic inclusion in a sight seeing tour of the city. Worth a visit.

Sofia has many beautiful impressive buildings, all within easy walk of Vitosha Boulevard, and this is another of them. Well worth a visit.

There are a lot of places to see while walking around Sofia. This building and area is a very good place to start and it is also a good place to end as there are several clubs close by, and some good hotels. The building is nicely refurbished and is monumental. Did not enter, as we were there late in the evening. Am not sure if it is possible to visit as a tourist.
