The price was really good for the service we received. The crew was really friendly, the room was cozy, and I pretty much liked the location being very close to the city center, the shopping mall, and the landmarks

Normal Hotel, clean, reasonably priced, where the owner arranged a parking spot in the street in front of the hotel, with a simple breakfast that is worth the 4 euros, with friendly staff, who even booked tours around the city and explained everything, with a unique characteristics: it is close to the old center and the most important attractions of the city and you can walk. Worth it!

We enjoyed our stay. The location was great and the roof terrace an added bonus. The breakfast was also very nice. Although the room was a bit small it was comfortable. We would definitely recommend this place as good value for money.

First things first:
The owner of the hotel is active: He's responding and commenting on tripadvisor and before our stay he also sent a message to us through hotels.com with a litlle extra information a week before our stay. I always appriciate hotels which are active on tripadvisor and in general figure this as a sign of quality.
Now, we ordered a economy room through hotels.com which stated (in the "detailed room information") that it would have aircondition. The message from the owner (as mentioned) stated that it didn't so I doubled checked and saw that I was right, but the owner still said otherwise. I see that the "detailed room information" is corrected on hotels.com now, which is good, but still, why would he make an argument about this? The customer's usually always right etc. etc.
Anyways, we got offered another room, but decided to go with the room without a/c, which according to the owner was recently remodeled.
The room in general was ok, we didn't spend too much time there anyways since we wanted to focus on exploring the city, and that's what's best with Samm Seher; It's really close to the old town (like a 4-5 min walk) which is perfect since that way you won't have the noice from the streets at night, but still feel that you live in central old town.
They also lock the door at night (your room key won't work on the main door), which make you feel safer since you have to call the door and wait for the staff to let you in. The door bell is however so loud that you hear it in your room when other guests arrive, which is kind of annoying. The doors won't isolate sound that well either, so you will be hearing when other guests are in the hallway. I guess the delux rooms are better regarding that matter.
The staff is helpful and always ready to answer any question you might have regarding Sarajevo.

Room Tip: Order the delux room (with A/C)

Dear Valued Guest,
WOW .. I got to be honest, this is the most detailed and accurate review about us that I have seen so far, Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts and experience with us, and most of all thank you for choosing our hotel as your place to stay during your trip to Sarajevo.
You are right; Hotel.com had a mistake in the listing and now it has been corrected, but thank you for mentioning that we immediately offered you another room which is equipped with Air Conditioner.
As for the door bell: You are absolutely right on the spot, and right now I am working on addressing this issue by looking into the new technology gadgets available, and within a week or 10 day this issue will be resolved.
Thank you for pointing out that we are located in exact downtown which makes it easy on our guest to roam around and be in the center of all the action.
And thank you so much for mentioning our award winning staff.
I hope we get a chance to serve you again in the near future.
Sincerely yours,
Mohamed Gamil

Me and some friends stayed two nights at Samm Seher Hotel. The location was really good, a walking distance to the old center and near the Yellow Bastion with a beautiful view of the city. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Always smiling. 24 h staffed. Rooms ok, clean spacious, ac, hot water. They have a cozy terass at the second floor for the guests, very nice to sit there. Good value for the price. Parking on the street and the hotel have just some parkings but they were full. I would recommend this and would get back to this hotel.

Room Tip: Good location with great service
