Tried 5 different dishes:
Fli: Albanian layered pancake like dish, crunchy outside and soft juicy inside, very well prepared. One note: the English translation is very misleading, it says mille-feuille and I think they should just translate it as "Fli: Albanian layered pie", mille-feuille is very misleading.
Tarhana meatballs: not sure what I would expect there, but it was delicious out of this world.
Dromsa with saffron: a typical dish from the Arberesh people in Italy (Italian Albanians who fled from Ottomans). This type of Albanian cuisine is difficult to find around Albania and it deserves an applause that Mullixhiu goes that far with Albanian food. The dish itself was really delicious, I loved it. It was a kind of small dough, bigger than couscous, cooked in a thick saffron sauce.
Petka with chicken and mushrooms: a type of dough leaves and cooked with mushrooms and chicken. Very delicious and nicely flavoured. A typical dish from Korça
Qumeshtor: an Albanian style custard cake, however I did not like their Qumeshtor. It is the only thing I did not enjoy
Overall, the starters and main courses deserve an applause, it was extremely delicious, I would love to try all their starters and main courses. Sadly for the dessert, it was rather average and not at the level of perfection of the rest.
