We arrived early and got lucky cause they were fully booked out and moved a few tables around to fit us in, we tried the chowder for entre that was great with a local cook island beer that was very refreshing for main I had a curry that came with alot of sides that were so tastie. All in all I can see why they have one alot of awards and would highly recommend this restaurant.

Very pleasant location, just outside Averua. I went for dessert and a glass of wine, while writing up post cards. The location overlooks the water in a secluded setting. “Colonial house” but rather austere interior.

I had the pavlova which was very good.

Service not bad but perhaps a bit indifferent and brusque.

This restaurant was recommended by a local after the first two we tried were unexpectedly closed for the evening. I’m so happy it worked out the way it did because the meals, service, & ocean view were absolutely perfect. It’s expensive but no more than similar fine dining establishments.

Best seafood platter ever - must try. A great combination of tempura, crumbed and fresh seafood. A highlight was the tuna sashimi and fish curry.

A trip to Rarotonga wouldn't be complete without at least one dinner at the historic Tamarind House.
The food is fantastic and the outlook is hard to beat.
You will need to book though because it is very popular with locals as well as visitors.
