After a 7 hour bus ride from Machu Picchu we were so grateful to find this place open late.
My boyfriend and I are vegetarians so we were super excited to see that half the menu was available to us. I must say though that if I ate meat I would have been even more excited for the rotisserie lamb spinning around. We ordered the vegetarian rollos with falafel and were in heaven! We had been on the hunt for a Mexican style burrito which does not seem to exist in Peru- this place satisfied that craving by taking the idea and combining it with Middle Eastern ingredients! Everything was put into a tortilla, then they stuck it in an oven to warm and grill it.
One of the best meals we have had in Peru- so good we ate there 3 nights in a row!!! And I am salivating just thinking about it!
As my guy and I love spicy food, we were very excited to finally find some spicy salsa given to us on the side with tzatziki.
Fresh ingredients and the prices are very good, especially being right off Plaza del Armas! A must try!
