We have eaten in Pucara on numerous occasions - both lunch and dinner. It is a very popular cafe, especially with Japanese tourists and during lunch. A number of the menu items are aimed to cater for the Japanese e.g. Udon noodle. They even have the menu in Japanese. Don't be surprised you walk in and think you are in Japan.
The food is good and inexpensive compared to other places in Cusco. However, the standard can be inconsistent. On one occasion, I had vegetable sautéed with rice and it was great with lots of vegetables. A week later I ordered the same dish but this time a lot of french fries were used to make up the portion of vegetables. I like chicha morada but theirs seem to have sugar added in as it is much sweeter than other chicha morada I had. The list of soups you can have is extensive.
