Best hotel and service, amazing location would definitely recommend!

5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed Nov 19, 2024via mobile
My partner and I had the best experience at this hotel, the rooms were so clean and spacious. The attention to detail was amazing with the hot water bottles at night.

They sorted us early breakfasts for when we had early day tours and also before our Inca Trail hike. They stored our luggage (and also our friend’s luggage who was coming on the hike with us and not staying at the hotel) while we were away for no cost and no trouble.

The breakfast included is so good, they have a great selection of buffet items amazing fruit and juices and also a great menu to order eggs/breakfast burritos etc

We got a free upgrade on both occasions we booked. Initially we had booked another hotel for after our hike but we ended up cancelling the second night and re booking at Antigua when we also got upgraded to a suite free of charge. I would recommend booking this hotel directly through their website as you get a free yoga pass and free airport pick up.

The staff were so lovely and so helpful, gave us great recommendations for places to eat.

The location of this hotel is also perfect so close to the square and great food places.

I would absolutely recommend this hotel to friends and family and would stay here again if we ever found ourselves in Cusco!

Antigua Casona was our favourite hotel of the 8 we stayed in in South America. It is a gem, hidden behind a non-descript doorway in a tiny street up a hill, close to the centre of the old town.
Service was excellent, the room was cosy and comfortable, a kettle is provided so you can make your own Muña tea (extra tea bags at reception). They even put hot water bottles in the bed at turn down. Totally unnecessary as we weren't feeling cold, but it's just a thoughtful touch you don't get elsewhere!
Breakfast was great, we left early on our last day and they provided us with breakfast bags to go!
Cannot recommend it highly enough.

This hotel was a jewel. It's tucked in a narrow street and you don't know how beautiful it is until you go through the door. The patio is the first thing you see and it's so pretty-lots of seating and firepits for cool nights. The restaurant is right off the rear and the bar as well, both of which are great. Our room was perfect for us. A comfortable king size bed, several bottles of water throughout the room, space for our clothes, and coffee/tea if we wanted it. The room was very clean and the waters were replaced several times each day and there is also a filtered water fountain in the lobby. Everyone was very friendly and personable. We had a spa treatment our last day (massage and then they hyperbaric chamber--so great!) and that was wonderful. The lobby has a neat little room off to the side that has waters, teas, and coffee for you. The restaurant was great too--we ate breakfast there each morning which included a delicious buffet with fruits, oatmeal, breads, salads, fresh juices, and coffee or you could order from the menu. They also served lunch and dinner, and everything we ate was yummy. The bar staff was so friendly and made drink recommendations for us. We loved sitting at the open window at the bar and watching the activity on the patio. The location was great--within walking distance of so many restaurants, shops, market places, churches, historic places. The entire vibe was wonderful and we would definitely stay there again.

Room tip: There is a filtered water fountain in the lobby-bring your own refillable water bottle so you can fill it!

We cannot fault this wonderful hotel, situated in the delightful San Blas district of Cusco. The staff were amongst the most helpful we have ever experienced (we can’t remember all their names but we do remember Edwin who was lovely). The style of the hotel was wonderful, the rooms were great and very comfortable (chocolates and hot water bottles every night) and the breakfasts were tasty and quite varied in a room with a log fire! We didn’t eat a meal there but we did have a snack one evening which we really enjoyed.

Everything about staying here is exceptional- the comfort, cleanliness, location, food and staff. The hotel has beautiful art, a warm welcoming energy and unique touches that complete one’s experience. The breakfast is hearty (and included), the restaurant has delicious options, the staff are super helpful and always smiling, and the yoga classes catered to everyone’s level. I will definitely be back!

This is an experience, not just a hotel. From start to finish you feel cared for, valued and pampered. The facility is first class in quality of amenities, furnishings, restaurant, and with fresh filtered water provided throughout free of charge. If only more hotels would do this
