Very modern high rise hotel situated opposite one of the largest Mall complexes in Chile which is accessed via a footbridge across the Avenida Presidente Kennedy, approx 10 minutes walk. Also from this complex, the Turistik 'hop on hop off' bus starts and this is an excellent way of seeing the city, including taking the cable car and funicular to San Cristobal Hill which offers fantastic views of the city.
We had a room on a high floor facing across the Avenida, so the view was as good as it gets. There are rooms which face the back of the hoteland these would only give you views of the adjoining apartment blocks. Fairly large room with a floor to ceiling window and the bed arranged facing it. A large divan seat is placed in front of the window so one could lay out on that and watch the world go by if so inclined. The room had all the amenities expected of this grade of property including a large flat screen tv (although this worked from the internet so pricture quality was quite poor), minibar, safe, hairdryer, and plenty of wardrobe space. Behind the bed is the dressing table/desk and there is a separate shower and toilet in the open plan style bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and a good size.
There are places to eat and bars in the basement of the hotel, although the Mall has such a great choice of restaurants and cafes that it's hard to see why anyone would choose to eat in the hotel. We did, however, have a small salad in the lobby bar on arrival and this was very nice. The outdoor pool is quite small but there is a large sunbathing area and seating is also provided to have food and drink outdoors. The sky bar on the top floor was not open while we were there but it would have been a nice place to drink and view the city.
