Rooms are excellent as others have said and the whole place reeks class. Rooftop bar wasn't open whilst I was there-not sure why but main bar not that busy either. Food at all restaurants excellent. Breakfast buffet and the omelette man/woman excellent. Concierge sorted a problem with hire car as me nada Espanol.
All good. If it was nearer the metro mind that would be better still....

Room tip: Ask for the Andes views but more $

So many pictures on hotel websites seems always different to reality. For this hotel, its matched or even better. Its walking distance from some shopping and restaurants , that is if you decide not to eat in. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. The staff is very friendly and of course you much try the pisco at the bar.

The level of comfort and service at this hotel make it impossible for me to stay anywhere else in Santiago. The property includes several restaurants, an outdoor pool and terrace, spa, gym, and a casual bar. Whether you are traveling for leisure or business, the concierge staff can handle any request you have. The executive lounge is first-rate, and among the very best I have experienced anywhere in he world. Whenever I visit, Monica and Marcela make me feel like family. They are a prime reason I keep coming back to the Renaissance Santiago. I strongly recommend the hotel.

Very modern high rise hotel situated opposite one of the largest Mall complexes in Chile which is accessed via a footbridge across the Avenida Presidente Kennedy, approx 10 minutes walk. Also from this complex, the Turistik 'hop on hop off' bus starts and this is an excellent way of seeing the city, including taking the cable car and funicular to San Cristobal Hill which offers fantastic views of the city.

We had a room on a high floor facing across the Avenida, so the view was as good as it gets. There are rooms which face the back of the hoteland these would only give you views of the adjoining apartment blocks. Fairly large room with a floor to ceiling window and the bed arranged facing it. A large divan seat is placed in front of the window so one could lay out on that and watch the world go by if so inclined. The room had all the amenities expected of this grade of property including a large flat screen tv (although this worked from the internet so pricture quality was quite poor), minibar, safe, hairdryer, and plenty of wardrobe space. Behind the bed is the dressing table/desk and there is a separate shower and toilet in the open plan style bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and a good size.

There are places to eat and bars in the basement of the hotel, although the Mall has such a great choice of restaurants and cafes that it's hard to see why anyone would choose to eat in the hotel. We did, however, have a small salad in the lobby bar on arrival and this was very nice. The outdoor pool is quite small but there is a large sunbathing area and seating is also provided to have food and drink outdoors. The sky bar on the top floor was not open while we were there but it would have been a nice place to drink and view the city.

Room tip: Ask for a room at the front of the hotel on a high floor for good views

the wife and i stayed here for a couple nights before our cruise and must say that the staff at the hotel are second to none.every staff member i had contact with were all very nice, helpful andhad a smile on their face.I would like to thank our Navigator, Walter, for doing an exceptional job at making our stay such a great experience. Walter was such a genuinely nice person that made us feel like we had known him for long time. Walter took his time in helping us to set up a an itenerary for the short time we were in Santiago and he did a great job for us. When we were checking out to catch our private transportation to San Antonio there was an issue and we were pretty concerned about making it to the ship on time. Walter proceeded to call our transfer company and with his help and extra effort made sure that our transfer would arrive to take us to the ship. Walter also secured us a "backup" ride in case our original transfer did not show . This was a pretty stressful situation for the wife and I but Walter assured us he would get us to the ship and through his efforts and personal attention we made our cruise. Thank you Walter for all that you did for us and i genuinely hope to see you again in the future. I would also like to thank,Enzo, at the front desk for being such a nice pleasant person.always smiling and in a great mood. The room we stayed in was nice with one issue in that the jetted tub did not work but that was a very small issue that was more than made up for by the excellent staff at the hotel. Thank you all again for making our stay in Santiago such a great experience.
