This hotel is close to the airport, but not really. It is actually a 10 to 15 minutes circuitous drive through an industrial complex to arrive here. I stayed here for an early morning flight and had some time the afternoon before, so I went into town. Another drawback, as many taxi drivers don’t know where the hotel is. It’s not their fault, it is complicated to find.
As for the hotel itself, it’s exactly what you expect from a Hilton. Except the front desk service. Every time I went there (and that was often, see below) it was either understaffed, or every person was helping one single client. The reason why I went to the front desk so often, was that my room door did not work. There seem to be some trick to opening it, which I couldn’t figure out, and no one could adequately explain to me. (Why would a hotel have truck doors?) So I had to ask front desk to send someone up to help me every time I left my room.
So overall, not a bad hotel for resting your head before an early morning flights, so long as you don’t want to leave your room, because you might not be able to get back in if you do.
