We've eaten at Lagnaa twice. The upstairs has a more posh atmosphere, but still casual with the barefoot dining element and everyone seated on the floor. Downstairs is open to the street and very casual but with the benefit of chairs (for those of us who prefer them!). We took my mother in law, and she loved the stroll through Little India and then feeling so welcome at Lagnaa. The auntie running the show downstairs rightly steered us to the Level 2 spice (which was plenty). The dishes are a bit small for the price, but the quality is superb. We enjoyed everything and signed up to be notified of their cooking classes and events. Worth making part of your regular rotation in Singapore or a special visit for tourists who want to see Little India and don't know where to choose.
