When reading your text, I feel the need to rectify your comments so readers will get the real picture on what happened.
How can you describe our place as being “horrendous”, if you didn't actually stay at our place??
We don't know what your real intention is because there is no "real tourist" that will book 3 hotels for the same date of stay, only to write a bad review. This seems to us that you are not a legit tourist.
Upon checking in you informed us that on the website of Agoda it says that the room comes with a refrigerator. To us that was strange because that room type doesn’t come with a fridge. When checking, we found out that in our settings we don’t offer the refrigerator, but strangely it was being offered on the Agoda platform.
We explain this to you and showed that on the Agoda site its being broadcast wrongly, because our setting didn’t include a fridge. You replied that you understood.
We also emailed Agoda to look into this and correct it, so our listing is showing the right information.
To resolve this matter quickly we said it would be no problem to place a fridge in your room for your entire stay.
Then straight after, you informed us that you have 3 bookings for 3 different hotels, for the same night. Which to me is strange because I think you can only stay at one place at the time. But our guests are free to book however they want.
You then asked to get out of the booking or at least we will give a 50% discount. We didn’t agree with this, because we don’t give this kind of discounts, and guest should realize that if you make 3 different bookings at the same night, you can’t expect the other hotels to compensate for making too many bookings.
You left and stayed at one of the other hotels, and never used the room.
Now a few days have passed, and I read this review you just wrote. I find it sad that people use this platform to make false claims all out of disappointment because we didn’t agree to refund you or give you 50% discount.
Maybe next time don’t book at 3 different places at the same night? To avoid again disappointment and wasting your money.
And then the one claim you made that "our listing is deceiving on Agoda"; we showed you our settings in Agoda Extranet, where we clearly did NOT include the refrigerator into the room’s amenities. This is a mistake by Agoda, and we already informed them to rectify it for our future guest.
But anyway, this problem was also already resolved on the spot, by offering to place a refrigerator in your room. You declined our offer and then after you decided to stay at one of the other 2 hotels you booked, and that is you good right to do so, but now for you to use this platform to try to damage our business’s good reputation and name, out of spite because we didn’t agree to refund or compensate with 50% discount, yeah that reflects more about you then about our business.
You never stayed one night in our place and you describe your stay with us as being “horrendous”. That’s a bit odd, but again we already understand this review is not based on the actual truth and you now try to get even for whatever reason you may have.
We prefer honest reviews placed by guests that actually have stayed at our place.
All I can do is reply with the actual facts that really occurred, so other Trip advisor-users have a more accurate idea of what really happened with your booking. Because what you are claiming is completely false and untrue.
We hope you had a great stay at the other hotels you booked! And maybe next time, just book one room per night at only 1 place only? Just a tip.
