We booked the 3 bedroom glamping villa for our trip but was informed fews days before that we will be moved to their other property Villa de Oriente as they double booked on the dates of our stay. We were told of course that it is better and would be enough to fit our family of 9 adults with 2 kids.
On the day of our booking, we were told to go first to The Orient Beach, surprisingly, the tryke driver doesn't know where it is, we even asked around other locals but no one knew where it is. When Ajei showed us the villa, it's as if he knew already we wouldn't accept it. First of all, the long tiny eskinita leading to the "villa" is scary, not safe for tourists, the area itself is tucked away from the main road. Second, it only has 2 rooms enough to fit four persons and Ajei said they will just add 1 bed when there was not enough space anymore. Third, the pool is not even a pool, it's just a tiny tub! We wanted to back out the moment we saw the road, moreso when we saw the so called "villa". Not what we paid for!
We would have been consoled if the service is good but Ajei just left us there hanging and even promised a refund. Completely unacceptable. Just don't book at this hotel as they treat paid guests this way.
