We enjoyed our stay here! All the staffs are very accomodating specially Mr. Rome Garcia. He assisted us with our booking and made sure that we had a memorable experience. We also tried Terra's signature massage. It's the best massage that we had! Will definitely come back with our kids.More

The staff on hand were excellent and attentive. Because of the pandemic they were short staffed and could not provide all of their usual services and at times slow to meet your needs, especially at the restaurant at breakfast time. Those who were on duty were outstanding and did everything they could to make your stay as welcome and care free as possible, especially Chloe. The restaurant occasionally ran short of menu items so meals became repetitive. The rooms were clean and any issues we had were addressed immediately. There were times food and empty glasses left out for extended periods near the pool (or tables not cleared in the restaurant), again because of the lack of staff. They honestly did the best they could and always professional with a smile on their face. Everything was always sanitised after each use (including pool chairs) and the beach areas was clean. Overall they did a great job and I would go back again.

Food and drinks are over priced and the worst I’ve had in boracay. Service is slow and the most unfriendly on the island. Extremely aggressive staff, I brought my dog with me and it was like I’d brought 12 guns and needed to be removed immediately they didn’t ask me nicely to sit my dog somewhere else but rather threw me out of the restaurant, pabs was the security’s name, he needs training on hospitality and basic human manners. Much better places with much better food and drink and friendly vibes. Don’t waste your time and your money!

After having been cooped in the city for 9months, my husband, daughter and I were able to escape to Boracay for a 4n/5d holiday - which we first opted to split into 2nights at Discovery Shores and 2n at Shangrila. On our 4th night, we all decided to extend our vacation and unanimously voted to return to Discovery Shores (despite the promo rate being offered at Shangrila). There’s something really special about Discovery — it maybe the powder white sand beach at the hotel-front where the waves are subdued almost all year-round, or the jacuzzi in our seaview one-bedroom loft unit where my daughter and I enjoyed our wine while admiring the sunset. It must be the staff - all incredibly friendly and gracious. They know you by name, and greet you with a smile with their palms to their chest. We appreciated that Rome, their Operations Director and Resort Manager Erwin, Julius, and other staff made it a point to be at the driveway to welcome us upon arrival and send us off upon our departure. Shout out to the restaurant and bar staff, the beach security guys who always anticipated our needs, and the reservation team who even helped us in booking our discounted RT-PCR test.
We enjoyed the little things they gave their guests — from the “welcome care kits” they provided, thoughtfully packed with alcohol spray, wet wipes, mask, and sunblock, to the beautifully prepared chocolates and local pastries they would leave in our bedroom every night.
Overall, I’ll give Discovery Shores a 10pt and 5 stars rating!! We’ll definitely be back!!
