Our fist visit was in 2015. We planned to return to the resort in 2017, but Marilyn's popular resort was fully booked. The reunion was more like a family reunion than that of hotelier and guest. This was echoed in the arival of other guests who embraced staff joyfully on returning. This is the magic of the Turtle Inn Resort. It is comfortable, comforting, casual, warm, friendly and homely. It is not fancy, it needs a little maintenance, if you are a traveller who insists on luxury always, then this resort is not for you. If you enjoy a lush garden, warm hospitality, friendly fellow travellers, piping hot showers, snow white linen, your own little balcony and a location close to the beach, you will be happy here.
Plus points:Superb service. Ask for what you need. Our request for extra pillows, a thin blanket and repairs to the main bedroom light, was met with a prompt response. If you request boiling water in order to make tea/coffee it will be readily available. Breakfast can be served on your balcony.
Laundry:You may do your own laundry. You can buy detergent in town or at the resort.
Watch points :Not recommended for the frail, elderly and those with restricted mobility. The narrow, much deteriorated alleyway leading to the resort is challenging indeed as are the steep steps.
This is a child-friendly resort.
Thank you for the hospitality Marilyn and staff.

We were staying just two nights at Boracay and I'm glad I chose this hotel. The rooms are really clean and the staff are really friendly. Its a 3 minute walk to the Beach and 15mins walk to the DMall in station 2. We were offered complimentary breakfast and welcome drinks. We arrived just few weeks before Boracay was going to close down for rehabilitation, so I would really hate to see them go out of business. Only issue I saw was that the steps might be hard for a very elderly person to go up and down. But it was no problem for us. I received a 5star service for a 3star Hotel. And Will definitely stay here again.

Ps. We miss NewYork

Such a great stay at turtle inn, the owners were so lovely and welcoming taking a genuine interest in us and our stay in boracay. Great location just minutes away from the beach the owners even suggested best places to swim in the ocean, rooms were in great condition - hope to visit again one day.
