1. Location: The hotel was right in front of the white beach and very near to D mall.
2. Room: First two nights, we stayed on the 1st floor and an air conditioner was very noisy and was not clean. Because of the weather, a room was very humid if AC is not on or higher temperature. The other two nights, we stayed on the 2nd floor and AC condition was better than the 1st floor and had a better view of the beach. (I highly recommend to stay on the 2nd floor or above)
3. Housekeeping: All staffs were very friendly. They tried to keep the room clean and neat. We asked for additional towers every day and was delivered within 5 minutes. Sometimes, they forgot to clean the bathroom floor but it was OK because we always came back with sandy feet.
4. Breakfast: Many people complained about the low quality of the food but we were very satisfied. It was very well mixed with local and int'l food for breakfast.
5. Others
- It is a 4-floor building but no elevator. Hotel staff will bring up and down the luggage.
- At night, it is very noisy until 11pm~12am with music from the bar.
- Mosquitos and flies are everywhere. Try to bring or buy bug repellent stuff (spray, cream, etc.)

Room tip: Try to avoid 1st floor. 2nd or higher floors have a better view of the beach.

The location of this hotel is fabulous. Every single staff member friendly and helpful. The value of the hotel based on price was excellent. Great 3 night stay and eat several times at the restaurant with very good prices and quality food.

UNFORGETTABLE FAMILY BONDING

Our family’s recent 4-day vacation in Boracay island in the Philippines was full of fun and enjoyment. My two daughters in the US have been there years before but for me and my wife it was our first time. The excitement to go was more pressing after the news that the resort had been rehabilitated. Indeed it was with the cleaner environment and much improved infrastructure according to my daughters. The beach is simply amazing and beautiful: very fine white sand, clear clean water we can see small fishes swimming; awesome calming view. Furthermore it is safe for the kids - very important consideration for us.

It has also features for everybody in the family: swimming for everyone; grandchildren playing with the sand; sons-in-laws kite-surfing on the other side of the island; wife and daughters shopping for souvenirs in nearby shops; island hopping boat ride; and for me a photography enthusiast, taking pictures of the beautiful sunset, the white beach with colorful boat sails.

Our vacation was made more pleasant by the hotel we stayed - the Red Coconut Beachfront Hotel. The hotel located right in front of the beach near Station 2 was excellent. We took 3 family rooms next to each other on the 4th floor. Accommodation was very good, service was first class and food was excellent. The swimming pool was also a favorite of the kids. I rate the hotel 4+ only because there was no elevator.

We have been to different beach resorts in other countries and we can say Boracay is one of the best and the hotel Red Coconut Beach Hotel equally fitting for the resort. We intend to return and stay in the same hotel, but with me and my wife on the ground floor.

Room tip: Rooms on the 4th floor offered the best view. Rooms on the ground floor good for seniors and convenience to look after kids on the pool.

Rooms are nice and clean, have aircon and a minibar. We had two different rooms and if you have a room on ground level, yes, the noise from the bars nearby can be annoying. The room on 3rd floor however was calm and not noisy at night. Pool can get warm since there is no shadow provided for guests in the pool. Breakfast was good standard.

Room tip: Rooms above groundlevel are less noisy

We had a great experience at the Red Coconut. Top notch hotel, clean rooms, excellent amenities. All of the staff members were wonderful. The service was prompt and always professional.

The only thing that needs to be improved upon is the contracted transport company that brings you from the ferry dock to the hotel. The routes they take are very bumpy, tight and they drive wayyy to fast. The vans are tiny and they pack people in like sardines. The vans have no air con. In addition, some passengers were car sick by the end of the ride.

The traffic on the main-road of Boracay is very congested (understandably due to overcrowding and small infrastructure). To compensate, drivers take whatever route they can find, which ends up being an unexpected adventure to say the least...

They get you as close as possible, then have to walk down muddy back alleys through construction zones to get to the hotels while carrying luggage.

They don’t allow the ferries to dock on the beach in front of hotel stations as before the islands re-vitalization.

My opinion; I think this change in transport routes/modes has made traffic congestion exponentially worse, and also gives the tourist a bad first impression.

Not the hotel’s fault though.
