The people are great, yes you will find the usual land shark's trying to sell you or rent you a bike or kayak, the sand is absolutely perfect,.during the day you can enjoy a drink in the local shops -restaurants bar and it transform at night with the beach artists, yes the have made some restrictions on the people making sand art but still it's absolutely fantastic. We have fallen in love with the place and the people.

Not far offshore - you can wade out to it at low tide. It’s a man made island with a religious shrine. You can swim right around it at high tide.

This is just a set of rocks located at Boracay's station 1 not far from the beach. People visit this place to have their photos taken. It offers a good backdrop for selfies, especially for pictorials at sunset. However, since this is a famous landmark, it does get pretty crowded.

My fiancee saw Willy's rock from a distance so we walked down the beach to see what is was. Very popular place with a shrine. Water was shallow around rock(s) but very few of any people on the rock.

Well worth it for pictures and because it is an unusual rock formation.

Standing here still since I first visited in the late 1980’s, Willy’s Rock has remained one of the iconic must-see sites in Boracay. It may not be as splendid as other historical sites, but if it’s your first time in boracay make sure to have your picture taken both at sunrise & sunset.
