I read so much about this market & all images I found in Google & insta. But in reality there was a fire in this market 6-7 months back. Now there is only to seafood seller there. I barely bargained for 50pesos. They take advantage of this situation. There is only two restaurants which cook the seafood you buy. Smoke is the better one but always full. Once I negotiated one crab for 500 & the other he asked 1500. In the menu of the restaurant i saw its only 350peso. So first please check the menu before you decide to buy your seafood. Might be the restaurant will serve u at a better price.

Pick and choose your own seafood and they will cook it for you! Succulent, yummy food!!! Fresh everyday and a variety to choose from. Went with sugpo and alimango and fish!

This is a large outdoor shopping “mall” with lots of interesting shops and restaurants.
You can buy anything you need here and some you don’t.
Be prepared to barter for everything but restaurant food.
Wear sturdy shoes. If it rains it stays wet for a ling time.
Its busy so expect it to be crowded.

Probably the seafood is fresh and attractive but the market is expensive crowded and stinky. Lobster costs more than € 50 per kilo that is very high for the cost of living in Philippines. They rise up the price because chines don't bargain and pay what asked... why sell at cheapest price if there are many chinese which pay the highest price?

Sadly, due to an unfortunate event that happened in this place, most part of the Talipapa is close for renovation while some moved to another mall (E Mall I guess).

I was amazed on the different languages that the sellers here can speak to and the way they haggle the prices with foreigners. Hearing and seeing them talk using a foreign language to the best that they can do is entertaining.

As for the food, well we had so much fun!! My husband and I managed to finish the seafoods that we ordered for a total price of less than P1,000.

Wear flip flops when you go here because the road is wet and slippery.
