Beachfront Hotel in Station 3

3.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed Jul 25, 2017
The hotel location is good because it is located right at the beach. However I noticed that it is not budget friendly because we paid 12k just for 2 nights of stay. Aside from that the room is smaller compared to other hotels that we tried in Boracay.

A relatively old but clean hotel with Chinese and Koreans as majority of guests. Beachfront hotel Located at Station 3 in between Astoria Current and Boracay Sands. The family room had huge amount of space and equipped with basic necessities (hair dryer, refrigerator, electric kettle, etc). It's a less crowded area so you need to go visit stations 1 and 2 for more food and drink places. Breakfast was decent and quite filling enough to last till lunch time. Thank you to the very warm and friendly staff.

The most positive thing about the hotel was definitely the location. Right at the beachwalk.
It was a ok, just ok.
At first we didn't get our room with king size- bed, what we have paid for. ( found out later that others had the same problem). Then , the room was quiet old and dirty...

About the food, we only ate breakfast, and only twice on our 5 nights stay.
It was smal, and not so much to choose from.

At the beach we had some beers and drinks, which were cheap!

With some painting and really great clean it will be worth its money. Then you get what you pay for.

If we visit Boracay again we will choose another hotel.

We stayed here for 3 nights during early December, the staff are very friendly and polite but that's where the plus points finish really. The hotel itself looks tired and in desperate need of a make over the room we stayed in which was 2018 the Air con leeks water if left turned on for long periods, the bathroom well is in need of a make over really it had screws on onside of the wall where things had been fitted then removed but the screws left part way in and some wall plugs in the tiles. The Toilet was clean but again in need of an update. The shower mainly runs cold water if you want warmer water good luck it just comes out slow. The Bed itself was comfy and good to sleep on, I had to ask for the alarm clock to be replaced as the one in r room was faulty, the other thing was plug sockets as we found one set didn't work. The only other thing was the floor tiles in the room again these look tired and in need of replacement.

The swimming pool was a plus point it was really lovely the only minus point was the wooden bridge going over the pool the was out of bounds to customers due to the poor state of repair of the bridge again it's most properly seen better days. If you do use the pool just be warned that the water is cold not heated so it's a bit of a shock when you first get in the pool.

Breakfast is limited for choice but it's ok they do have cereals and warm milk with Pancakes and syrup with fruit plus Filipino food. Becarefull of what milk you chose for your coffee as they also use soya milk which turns your coffee to yuk.

I wouldn't recommend the evening Buffett as there is very little choice but they only charge 350 pesso but it's better to look elsewhere as there are better Buffett meals away from the hotel for a bit more pesso.

Overall the hotel was ok we paid just over 11000 pesso for 3 nights but the hotel is looking tired and in desperate need of a revamp.. see for yourself what you think.
