The rooms were nice, clean and affordable for our group. We booked two rooms and they were located in different buildings on the property. If you want to eat at the resort's restaurant, good luck finding someone to cook it. Their shuttle service lacks in accommodations. They don't provide shuttle service at the ferry landing, as they should be able to pick guests up at the ferry landing. Overall, the staff did their best to assist us. The beaches are the best part of our experience. the two beaches were very different from each other and impressed us. Punta, at station 2 is in the heart of the Island with a lot of people having a good time, including us. Puka, the other beach available, is indeed, a private paradise, If you want a quiet getaway, Ecovillage Resort is the place to be.

First, beore saying anything baf about a place I ried to check... How much did I pay for, Is it peak season or That is where I start to build my expectations.

First of all they are over priced for a very old room without extra amenities. They don't have complimentary water. You have to buy a small one for 30php! No coffee.. I have to wait for 6am to buy coffee which is not good as I am an early riser! I was like.. I wake up and stuck! It is far from everything! They should have something where there guest could buy their needs but none! You can also hear the noise of the next room and those in the hall way. Even those who just talk normally.
We wen to their resto at exactly 6am and I am writing this 6:56am already still my breakfast is not served!!! Nothing is eco about this place too! Worst, overpriced and very bad service and amenities too!!!

I don't suggest this place esecially if you don't want to ruin your vacation.

is a suitable place to hold business conferences, trade exhibits, seminars, team buildings, and indoor sports-related activities. It is budget friendly and ideal for large groups.

But its beach front is located 5-minutes walk which is named Punta Bunga Beach.
It also features a large outdoor pool with a tub and separate children’s pool.

Boracay Ecovillage Resort offers a free shuttle to Puka Beach, a 5-minute drive or 20-minute and free shuttle service from and to Balabag church is also offered to guest 4 times daily 9am,11am,2pm & 5pm

Air-conditioned rooms come with a cable TV, bathroom and telephone. Select rooms offer a balcony with pool or sea views.

Guests can enjoy a game of basketball, volleyball or badminton at the resort’s indoor courts.
Free WiFi at the hotel lobby and at the restaurant.

We booked two standard rooms in the main building.
This is one of the most extreme places I have stayed at for positive and negative.
The location is very good if you like a beautiful, peaceful beach for a decent price. The beach is the best part and is a 5 minute walk downhill (10 minutes back up) and is absolutely lovely. There aren't many people, the water is better than the main area of Boracay and it is a great place to relax. Punta Bunga is the best beach I have seen on Boracay. There are also hardly any annoying hawkers, we just encountered two (far far far fewer than in the main area of Boracay)The swimming pool is also good and a very decent size. The bed had a very comfortable mattress. Staff are efficient and polite.
The negatives though are a pain too. The hotel has a big basketball stadium right in the middle of it and the noise of the balls hitting the court reverberate around the hotel and are clearly audible in the rooms. The whoop whoop and screams of the local youths playing basketball is constant and they start early morning until well into the evening. You can hear it all from your room. Whoop whoop! Our room also had problems with the electric, which went out and we couldn't get it back on, though the other room we booked had theirs working fine.
Food is not great there. If you like very simple Philippine food you can get it from the village shacks along the road, but there is little else other than the basic hotel restaurant.
Internet is only available in the cafe restaurant, sadly.
So, recommended for basketball fanatics who like a lovely beach and pool and don't care about their room.
