My family and I booked a loft room during our stay in Boracay for 4 nights. The hotel was located near D'mall and has a beachfront view. The room was clean and we had no issues during our stay. Staff were friendly and accommodating and we had a pleasant experience upon checking-in. We will definitely stay there again when we visit Boracay in the future.

Room tip: choose a room that has balcony

I booked with Zuzuni for our stay in Boracay, mainly cause of the beach front location, the clean looking rooms, and the reviews I read online. I booked two rooms, the Premier beach front and a deluxe room (no view) which was almost the same price for both and it wasn’t cheap. Checking in was easy, the front desk staff was really helpful and accommodating. The rooms were nice and bright, looks really clean too. The bathroom looked clean but smelled like piss, I’m guessing it’s coming from the drains. That definitely threw us off.
Second day started good, breakfast was decent and the staff offered us beach towels and a beach mat. Around noon, we were back in the room and showered, the shower drain wouldn’t drain and the water started coming out on the other drain, almost flooding the bathroom. I told the staff about and he didn’t seem surprise in hearing this and it sounds like it’s an ongoing problem. We asked our room to be cleaned and the drains fixed if possible. Upon coming back from lunch, we stayed in our room to take a quick nap. We were greeted by construction next door, pounding our walls. It was crazy, unexpected, and unbearable! I told the staff downstairs and asked where it was coming from. He said it was next door and that they also informed everybody upon check-in. We were never informed about this and how is this acceptable?? For paying $140 dollars a night, I didn’t imagine this would be fine. To sum our stay up: Location was 7/10, yes, it’s beachfront, but all the boats doing tours for the island are docked right in front of Zuzuni. So you still gotta walk further to be able to swim. Staff was 7/10, most of them are really nice and accommodating, I also wish they told us about the construction prior to checking in or maybe even prior to booking the rooms. You come there to relax and unwind, and the construction right by our head kinda defeats the purpose. Rooms are 6/10, rooms look clean, although shower has clogged drains, moldy smelling room coming from the AC. For the price we paid, I expected a little more!

It was a great experience at Zuzuni hotel. We had a small but clean a confotable room with a balcony and seaview. The stuff is incredible nice and will help you out with everything you need.the only weird thing was a glass window between the room and the bathroom, but it wasn t that bad.overall,a very nice experience ,the hotel is situated right on the beach,a very good location on the island.

Economical. Got the loft room with two queen beds and two bathrooms on separate floors. Good view of beach. Hallways are bright with natural light. Great cleans bedsheets, air conditioning, and central location off main beach drag. Room safe provided. Beach towels provided. Breakfast sandwich and Filipino style breakfast that we ordered were pretty tasty.

On the downside, location faces beachfront where tour groups meet for boat excursions, so beach isn’t ideal. Renovation in lobby area. No real security (at 10-12a arrival two concierge people napping and in dining area), no free water bottles in rooms (pitcher of water is free but you need to ask), spotty service (first night, they forgot to make-up rooms and when asked, they gave no apologies), smallish and run down room finishes need a new paint job minimum (walls were beat up like a cheap creepy motel), weak and sometimes non-existent wi-fi, and towel linens were clean but old looking.

Filipinos provide great hospitality service in the Philippines and this was just “meh’” for my basic minimum standards.

Good luck.

Zuzuni is a charming property with modern and comfortable rooms and a great location - bang on Station 2 in Boracay and in the middle of the bubbling Boracay nightlife. The staff is fantastic and helpful.

In terms of improvements they can look at, providing a complimentary bottle of water would be a good place to start. The water pressure in the showers can also be better.

All in all, this is a delightful property and one which I thoroughly recommend to stay in while you are visiting Boracay.

PS: the breakfast is great
