It didn’t start off great,
The little road leading to the resort can only be described as a dirt track. It’s not lit up well,dusty, rocky and unsuitable to walk down in the evenings with young children.
We booked tricycles every night which we dreaded as it takes around 5 minutes as the road is that bad, kids would constantly bang their heads.
Most tricycle drivers were great but one tried to claim we didn’t pay which leaded In the hotel trying to charge us.
Regards to the resort, first sight it looks great. The pool is beautiful room looked clean but the nightmare started there.
First day bloodworms started coming out of the shower, I’ve been coming to the Philippines as a baby and stayed in worst places than dive thru and this has never happened.
Read this can happen due to poor water quality.
Bloodworms came more than once during our 8 day stay.
The bathroom was my main issue,
Had a bad smell daily.
There were days when we didn’t use the loo due to being out and poo was in our toilet, god know where that had floated in from.
On arrival our bathmat was dirty and was never changed.
The cleaner did his best but the rooms are just awful.
Second day a cockroach ran across my husbands chest in bed.
In our room the bedside lamps didn’t work. Kettle didn’t work, phone stopped working half way through our trip.
Tv would fuzz every Minute so hard to watch and they claim speedy WiFi which does not work in the room and the Slowest I’ve ever come across in the Philippines, Hardly even worked at reception, do not claim WiFi in all areas if this is not what you can provide.
Food wasn’t great, we always asked for eggs well done that never happened.
Choices aren’t great and cheaper to eat out.
We ate lunch one day and the table was not screwed in correctly and flipped up on one side, causing it to slam into my sons lip and splitting it open.
I felt bad constantly complaining to the employees that are may I add, the only positives about this resort, so I asked for the owners details and still waiting on her response.
I reached out to her as I wanted a partial refund, for the facilities they were claiming to provide were not up to standard and it was ruining my holiday,
I wanted to go elsewhere but still waiting for an email.
The lovely lady on reception offered us one night free after the 4th time of complaining about bloodworms but there was only so much she could do.
For what I paid it killed me paying the remaining balance and I will never return.
Hopefully one day she’ll respond, maybe after this review although after reading all the other responses from bad reviews they make up poor excuses.
