We highly recommend Philippine Fun Divers Inc. and Sir Ole (our instructor) for first timers. They are patient and they make sure to give you a fun and safe dive.
We experienced a safe and fun 2 dives off Balicasag island. Liza was superb at responding via email and everything was organised efficiently. Kit was fine and everything was loaded onto the boat and set up for us. PDC have a very spacious boat and provide snacks and drinks for after each dive. The guides were great and took safety very seriously. We had one guide leading us and one as a safety guide for our group of 6. He also took some Go Pro footage of turtles which Liza shared afterwards. We saw some great sealife and had a great morning. Would highly recommend.
My awesome thank you to Rena Sugiyama, Holger H Horn and all the staff of the Philippine Fun Divers for the safe and most wonderful 15 dives with the five-star services, and last but not the least, the VIP dive with Bongcac Renato at Arco Point.
Gasped for words of appreciation for the endeavor you gave me to have.
Thank you kindly once more, see you for more diving next time, many regards.

It was a very nice experience, we enjoy it! Very responsive staffs, quality and excellent service. Highly recommended 💯👌❤️
Let's be honest.
We hired to go to Balicasag to snorkel and we joined the group of divers. Everything is fine.
But the experience, at least in snorkeling, has been strange.
Nobody has said anything like "hello, I'm the person in charge. The guide. The instructor" whatever. You get on the boat and you don't even know how many dives you're going to do, or where, or anything.
When you arrive at the first point they tell you: you can snorkel there. Do not go too far. We pick you up "there". "There" as a word in the middle of 10 boats and with a strong current does not help much once you are alone in the water. We swam back against the current. OKAY. no problem.
From there we spent 40 minutes collecting the divers who were going little by little. okay. no problem.
We reach another point and no one says or explains anything. After spending 10 minutes seeing that everyone was drinking coffee, we asked. And they told us that if we wanted we could swim (snorkel) there. okay. so we did.
From there we spent 40 minutes collecting the divers who were going little by little. okay. no problem.
And from there directly to panglao.
I don't doubt that the diving activity with them is great, but snorkeling makes no sense. It's my third time in the Philippines and it's the first time I've felt like "I don't know what I am doing in this boat." I feel like I've been transported and no one cared if I snorkeled, if not, if there were turtles, if everything went ok....etc....
Not recommended for snorkeling.
Not everything goes in tourism. You have to demand a minimum of quality.
Philippine Fun Divers and Ole our guide was brilliant! We weren’t sure about completing the whole open water certified diver qualification at first (as both of us were new to scuba diving) so we decided to try the discover scuba diving course. This was great as we got to practice skills in the pool then complete our first dive in the sea! After that we decided to complete the rest of the course so our first five was included and the price we paid for it was taken off the total. We also saw some brilliant wildlife during our dives including some sea turtles!
We couldn’t thank Ole enough - he made sure we felt comfortable and at ease with all the exercises and dives and took some amazing photos during our time in the water. Definitely go with Philippine Fun Divers if you are in Bohol!
