Loved it!

This hotel is outside of the main part of Puerto Princesa, not close to anything, need a tricycle ride to get to town, shops etc. That's the downside but the upside is, it is located out of town in the midst of some very nice trees & other greenery, you can hear the birds singing in the morning & see the stars at night. After Cebu, this seems like an oasis. They provide drinking water which is nice being so far out. Also provide breakfast,, (pandesal, eggs, ham or fruit, juice or coffee/tea) & the restaurant is open in the evening. The staff are very friendly & airport pickup can be arranged by contacting the hotel. They also arrange day trips to several places and tricycles to town.

We booked a Superior room with a pool view, got Room 11, 2nd floor overlooking the pool with a large balcony, which can get hot mid-day, good in the morning. The room was clean, large, queen bed along with a day bed. Had a fridge, no kettle (hot water available in the kitchen), AC, fan, TV (several English movie channels). There is a separate shower room in the room which is nice, also separate sink & toilet rooms. Everything seems quite new or recently painted. They have a very nice, clean, piano shaped pool with 6 lounge chairs which was enough as people are out day tripping & we always got chairs when wanted them. Towels are provided by the staff.

We enjoyed this hotel very much, the owner & staff are very friendly & do their best to anticipate what you might need. We had a great time & would like to have stayed a few more days. We normally like to stay in town but we enjoyed this place so much would come back next time.
Date of stay: February 2019
Room Tip: Upper floors better views of pool, all are good.

This stay exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment you meet the owner, Enrico you will understand why this place is how it is. He is warm, very kind and greets every guest with a smile and is extremely helpful. This place is great value for money and the perfect place to base yourself in Puerto Princesa for a relaxing stay. We would 100% stay here again.

Highlights:

- Enrico and his staff did everything to help assist us with our journey from El Nido to Coron as the ferry was cancelled.
- Dinner was great. The staff made fresh italian style pasta. Delicious
- Staff assisted in booking trips and Enrico ensured that we were fully prepared including providing us with sun cream to use.
- Superb breakfast
- The cats were great!
- Room was clean
- Piano pool was perfect for a relaxing dip after a day trip

Thank you very much to Enrico and staff!

Paboreal is a delighful place to stay in at Puerto Princesa. A very charming boutique hotel where quiet and peace are felt. Enrico, the owner, is very accommodating. You’ll never feel alienated by his friendly gestures towards his guest. He even drove us to KaLui (yes, for free!) when tricycles seemed busy to pick us up. Very commendable staff too! And Paboreal’s piano pool adds charm to the already lovely and homey place. For pet lovers like us, it was indeed a pleasure to mingle with Enrico’s 4 lovely adopted cats.

We simply loved our stay in Paboreal. Highly recommendable!

Paboreal is a lovely place to stay. Enrico and his staff go out of their way to take care of you. I arrived early in the morning after a long overnight flight, and was hoping to have breakfast and sit by the pool until my room was ready for check in at 2. Enrico insisted on allowing me to check in early, so I could have a sleep. Thank you Enrico - you have no idea how much I appreciated this!

Enrico and his staff also helped out with travel arrangements, advice about local restaurants and even managed to swing us a restaurant reservation at a fully booked restaurant! The rooms are beautiful, clean and comfortable and the staff go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your stay.
