I spent 3 nights here and enjoyed every minute of it. Rooms were very clean and cozy and I loved the modern hut style living. Blu Palawan was very peaceful and a great place to get away and relax. The pool was lovely and had the perfect temperature (I hate cold pools!) Food/drinks were excellent and I especially liked the gambas and fresh fruit shakes! All staff were very accommodating and helpful throughout our stay and even helped us book our trips as seen in pic attachments (Underground river and Island hopping). Access to town/restaurants was easy as there was transport available at all times by the main lobby. I would definitely recommend this place to couples, group of friends or even a family. Value for money was very good with accommodation as well as food and drink prices. Enjoy...

Blue palawan is good for travelers who really needs to take a rest and have their own time with several outdoor activities as kayak, kitesurfing, paddling... directly from your room to the beach.
Spending for night hours drinking cocktails & sharing nice music with strange girl from manila for her work at the bar located in beach side while raining all day long was very helpful and gorgeous. Especially watching ufc 202 match between two tough guys as u know Mcgregor and Diaz in big screen via one western guy's mobile phone was also exciting fir my last night.
Finally thanks for picking me up to the airport by their own van safely.

My husband and I and another couple stayed at Blue after 6 nights in El Nido and before flying back to Manila. We were so impressed with the reception (esp. after 6 hour van ride). The staff was so welcoming, and the blue refreshment was a nice touch. Each room is a cottage and we were given 2 adjacent cottages nearest the sea. The rooms were impeccably clean, modern, and just perfect to the last detail, including double sinks and double showers.
The pool area was great, with very comfortable cushioned lounge chairs. The staff was very quick to make us comfortable, setting up huge umbrellas near our chairs and serving us cold water without being asked! The water sports were free, and equipment (paddle boards, kayaks) was of very good quality. The beach area was also very nice, with comfortable chairs and tables to relax in. We went kayaking and paddle boarding around the mangroves which were very near the resort.
The food was very good, although a bit pricey. We enjoyed our stay here so much, we skipped going to any tours and just stayed in the resort.
I would highly recommend this resort for couples, families, and even to friends who appreciate good service and a beautiful situated resort in Puerto Princesa! The service is top notch!!!

The staff and service was excellent, with special praise to Ivy at reception. The location is wonderful, close to Robinson's Mall yet very secluded. It has a laid back atmosphere, and the owners are generally on site, which no doubt contributes to the staff excellence! Some reviewers have complained about the water being far away at low tide, but the flip side is that at high tide, you have a huge area of sea where the water doesn't get very deep, mostly waist height, so its perfect for kayaking and paddle boards, which are all free. The only downside is the rooms, which are well laid out but are a bit basic in terms of facilities, compared to what I would expect at this price. But this is in the Philippines and on the beach, so you should anyway not be spending too much time in the room!

The seaside location of the hotel was beautiful, but at the same time you were not too far from the city center of Puerto Princesa.

The service from the staff was very good. They made sure that they provided you whatever you needed. Very attentive, friendly and fast ...

The downside to this place was the quality of the rooms. The concept of having an thatched roof may look appealing but the actual downsides are too many ...

1) When it rains, it drips inside the room

2) Little insects ALWAYS find their way in ... we had to brush off our bed and pillows each night

3) You hear the neighboring guests as if they were inside the room with you

We expected more from these rooms considering the prices that were charged.

What saved the day was the high quality staff and the kitchen. The food was very tasty, but just a bit too salty for our tastes.

We had the chance to meet the owners while there, and they seem to be very eager to please and search for ways to improve this diamond in the rough.

We have noted your observations and we would like to thank you for the effort.
The insects have now lessened. The cause was found. And we have addressed it permanently.
