Rooms:
First, I love the color combination and the style of the room. Second, is that although we didn't had a seaview from our room, I still like the garden view of our room, in which by the way was surrounded by citronnelle, especially at night when my husband and I wanted to check our emails at the terrace. It gave us a bit more of privacy. And third, it was always clean and we didn't get problems with anything except for 1 time that the there was a problem with the distribution board of the room but it was right away solved.
Amenities:
I could say that the there were just 2 places in the hotel that we did stay most of the time. It's either the restaurant or the pool. The restaurant is cozy enough. Their concept reminded me of the hotel that we stayed in Tuscany. The infinity pool is really nice. On the days that we didn't go out for the tours, we would spend the whole afternoon at the pool either swimming or just relaxing and enjoying the breeze and the lined mango trees. The whole place itself is very good except that they just have to work out on the beach area. It's not yet that swimmable. Although, we had a bit of a chat with the resort manager Lisa, charming lady by the way, that they are working already to it. So might probably better in the next coming months. There a bit of episodes of black out but it comes back right away. The wifi although works very good on certain areas such as the restaurant and the reception area. Inside the rooms, its a bit slow and also along the pool area. There's no globe reception by the way inside the room.
Food:
The food is very good! There were not too many choices with the food but for me, its better because its better to have a few choices and they had done it very good than to have lot of choices but the taste is not good. Its a little bit pricey but the quality of the food is good. I would recommend the Fried Wok with River Shrimps (very tangy and flavourful) and the Bistek Palawan. Must try also the Four Cheese Pizza.
Staff:
I could say that the heart of this place are their staffs. First, Ainge, at the reception, he is helpful especially when it comes to recommendations regarding tours or any concerns that we need. Second, Erwin, I guess that he is one of the most reliable staff at the restaurant. He basically knows what is his job and very assertive on the needs of the guests. Third, Alvin, very cheerful guy and also like Erwin, he is helpful to the needs of the guests. Fourth, the Trainees, (gals and guys on white), very cheerful and assertive. I just love seeing them doing their jobs, looking very neat and clean. Overall, as I said the heart of this hotel are their staffs.
My family would love to go back to this place. Although its far from the main city, its a real hideaway from the buzzlling city life. I would recommend that before you come this place, you must bring cash since its far from the center. Would love to come back here again.
