Great experience. No hassle for tips. The audio tour was perfectly in time with the boat. Pretty good feat considering each passenger had their own ear piece. Excellent information provided. Was part of an overall day tour, the boats were safe and you knew exactly what to expect before you went. The walk from the beach to the river was not too rigorous as it was on an elevated wooden walkway.
This was truly amazing the cave and the river was so awesome. If you ever get a chance you must go..you will surely enjoy.
It's more fun in the Philippines! Yes! Finally I made it! Thank you for the locals of Brgy. Sabang to guide us and giving a discount to us (perks of being work at nearest resort there). I love the rock formations and also the history of Underground River, Puerto Princesa.
Docking area: the waiting shed was perfect for tourist who patiently wait for their turn to be transported to the Underground River.
Underground River: The tour guide assigned in our canoe aka bangka was well-versed with all the information and had the energy to make the adventure more interesting. Good job to kuya!
FYI our tour guide was a little pissed off our group mates. I don’t blame her because some of them were also too lousy.
Getting to see one of the UNESCO 7 Wonders of the World was an amazing experience. The tour comes with a headset that explains the history and background info of the river and the cave. The headset is there to keep the noise down as to not disrupt the river. This is a must see when visiting Puerto Princesa. It should cost somewhere between 500-800 pesos. This price includes lunch and transportation.
