Ask your hotel to reserve seats for you esp if you're a big group way in advance since they fill up early and may not accommodate walk-ins.

Can try their set meals good for two to 3 people. Some dishes may be a bit bland but the fresh fish and soup were tasty. Ask the waiters for recommendations.

For our first dinner in the Philippines we came at Kalui. The decoration is really outstanding, a huge gap with Puerto Princessa environment..
Here you enter barefoot, welcome at home :)
We took grilled tuna, that was good.
Shrimps with garlic and butter were really bland and a bit firm sadly.
We had another fish cooked with coconut milk, but unfortunately without great interest.
Kalui worth it for the deco, not sure about food that is a bit higher price than you can find in Puerto Princessa.

This restaurant specialises in seafood and has what might appear to be a limited menu, but don't be fooled. Go for the set menu and prepare to be amazed. These guys know what to offer and - quite simply - its beyond extraordinary. Probably the best restaurant in Palawan and possibly the best seafood restaurant in the entire Philippines. Yes, its that good!

In case you were wondering, prices are very reasonable for food this quality and service was both prompt and professional.

Tips: Bear in mind that they are usually very busy and close at 10.30pm; you also need to book in advance. You have to remove footwear on entry so suggest your feet are suitably sanitised in advance!

Great food and awesome place, the only problem I encountered is that they are quite hard to reach thru cellphones since I reserved from Manila, but the staff are all accomodating.
