What a beautiful oasis in the middle of bustling Puerto Princesa! The grounds have lush gardens, lovely art, and numerous seating areas. Buildings are low slung and use natural materials, so you get luxury without sterility. A visual delight. The pool and restaurant are also well done. The staff is incredibly helpful. I was so disappointed. We stayed here on our last night in Palawan. The restaurant and bar was closed by 9.00 on a Friday night and all the lights throughout turned off; meaning that we could only sit in our room after that time. I'm not a party animal but I was looking forward to a couple of glasses of wine to relax. Beautiful place and helpful, friendly staff. So if you're in bed before 9pm on a Friday...then it's great.

Our restaurant place close at 9pm but the light of the restaurant and the pool are always light on at night.
Every-night we switch off the lights around the bedrooms area at 10pm.

We stay there for 2 nights with my girl friends it's wonderful service hospitality everything was perfect ! And after traveling 10 years in Philippines i found the best pizza ! Also a beautiful garden nice room ! Place is quiet and safe 100% recommend this place

Good communication ahead of stay. Although the flight was delayed, driver was waiting. Spacious, spotlessly clean rooms. On site restaurant had a wide variety of tasty options. Tour & transfer to El Nido helpfully booked by attentive receptionist Krizzia.

They have a lovely atmosphere, loved the green foliage partly covering the whole property - that was the best part and probably true to their name ‘…. garden Inn’. Sweetest staff, best breakfast and in general such a cool place to be in at Puerta Princesa.

PROS:
1. Centrally located, about 3.0 km from the airport, 1.5 km from the Palawan Heritage museum and provincial Capitol, 1.1 km from Kalui's, and 600 m from Guniguni
2. Warm welcoming staff (especially ma'am Arlene) who never tired of coordinating our tours despite several cancellations of our underground river tour.
3. Clean comfortable rooms with outdoor seating and hammocks
4. Charming touches around the hotel eg. Umbrella's provided in open walkways in case it rains, and Himalayan table salt for the health conscious
5. Peaceful environment, did not even notice that they were holding a Christmas party in their restaurant.
NOTES:
1. Tours are to be paid in cash
2. At first we got freaked out when we heard scratching sounds from our ceiling at night, turned out that there were birds that roost on the roof at night.
