Booking this pension house was easy. It was done through bank down payment. They had a free airport to hotel transfer which we availed. The staffs were very accommodating and nice. Kudos to Mr. Leo.
It has a relaxing homey provincial ambiance, and I love the garden! They provide free coffee in the dining area 24/7 (i love the ceiling in the dining area).
I booked for an air-condition room with hot/cold shower. The room was well-lit, spacious enough, with a lot of space for our luggage. The bed was clean and comfy. The cable TV was old but it doesn't matter. We even had a balcony with nice chandelier, table and chairs outside our room (actually most of the rooms has balcony). Wi-fi was fast!
The breakfast was really great and worth your money! While waiting for a few minutes for your breakfast, they would serve you local bread first. The breakfast includes, a cup of rice, choice of viand, egg, with slices of cucumber and tomatoes on the side. They also served us 2 kinds of fruits for dessert. Drinks includes unlimited coffee and juice. That really made my tummy full! They also had a good restaurant, but we were not able to try it (hopefully next time).
They would clean the room per request. The staff who cleaned our room was too honest! He (i forgot his name) did not accept the tip I left on the bed on the first morning. So, on the second morning, I left a note on the bed telling that the money was for him. I actually doubled the amount of money I left on the bed. However, when I went back to the room after our tour, the money and the note was still on my bed! So I just went to the reception area to tell Leo to give the money to whoever cleaned my room. Right after, I saw Leo giving the money to the cleaner. The cleaner approached me shyly and thanked me for the tip. (Actually I heard that Palaweños are really honest).
We really enjoyed our stay and hoping that we can come back soon!
