The place is easy to find. Just have the tricycle driver drop you in the resto.

The margarita pizza was fab! But the strawberry ice cream was standout.
But one thing that makes this place worthy is that its coziness and everyone is friendly staff were amazing.

Facilities are clean and of a high standard. Vibes are good. Lounging areas are plenty, wifi isn’t the best if you need to do more than just browsing.
However not sure how this is marketed as a ‘social’ ‘party’ hostel. The events and tours are awesome but by 10:30pm the restaurant and bar are closed. The security guards are very aggressive, was told to leave or go to bed multiple nights literally for just having a conversation at a normal volume. Very weird.
Another thing that sucks with this is they are very strict at allowing food to be brought in, however the kitchen closes super early and doesn’t sell snack food.
Overall would recommend in comparison to other places in El Nido - just be prepared for the negatives!

Me and my parter travelled the philippines and were looking for cheap accommodation.

Here are the Pros:
You meet lots of peole. The vibe was so energetic and they give you welcoming drinks. They also offer island tours. They have a wall about everyday helpful information such as lowtide, hightide and events for that evening in the hostel. At the reception you give a deposit for towels. We stayed in the private rooms. Good size, good air conditioning and great size for shower/toilet. The area it is located is nice and quiet away from the busy main part of the madness.

There are a few cons:
We came to the room with a blocked toilet but they fixed it asap. Sometimes the water pressure is so slow that the shower stopped working in he middle of me using it. Happened a couple times too. But all is well, its an island after all. If you get there at night, it's quite hard to find cos its literally next to the road and have to go down stairs which is scary the first time. And travelling to the main part of the city was about 10 minute ride and find it expensive for the fare.

But overall, the experience and the staff gave us a lovely and memorable time! Deffo recommended it to my friends who are backpacking!!

Place is right on the beach, which provides beautiful views all day. Facilities are a bit more upmarket and you get ample space for dorm rooms. The bathrooms fall apart around 9pm, when the flushes don't work and people keep using them regardless. The vibe is very frat house. Kids are looking to get drunk and hook up with each other. The owners seems to push this frat house vibe. They could use a clothes drying space. Everything they sell from van bookings to water bottles are way overpriced. Overall, if you are 23 and looking to get trashed, highly recommend. If you are looking for a laid back place to make some friends and party with some level of maturity, do not recommend.

Outpost Beach Hostel is absolutely everything you could want and more - it's got an amazing location right on the beach with the best views and sunsets daily. The people who have set this up in El Nido have done it not just as a business but a way of life - they make Outpost what it is and make you not want to leave! The food is delicious with different options throughout the day all cooked fresh, lots of cocktails, fun drinking games, as well as space to relax and just enjoy the view. They also organise boat trips and excursions which offer amazing value and the chance to meet people who are also staying in the hostel, taking you to all the main tourist hot spots as well as a few hidden places so it's really worth booking through them! And the rooms were really clean with comfy beds, air conditioning + fans, as well as space for you to keep your belongings safe below your bed. So whether traveling solo or in a group, Outpost made my experience in El Nido unforgettable so would definitely recommend!! I'll be planning to come back soon!!

Room Tip: The rooms all have individual storage under the beds so remember a padlock to keep your things safe...
