Completely fell in love with that hotel. Everything is made out of a beautiful wood. The owners habe put a lot of love into this hotel. It was so peaceful to be there walking around barefoot with a beautiful view from the open lounge to the ocean. The private tours we have booked were great. There’s a free pick up with the boat from Corong Corong beach (near el Nido) and the boatride is already like a little sightseeing tour of the bay. The owner Lito and his lovely wife Merly made us feel really welcome there. We were the only guests since a large group had to cancel their stay out of personal reasons, that made us feel like staying at a private resort. Our son had fun playing with the son of an employee. The only thing missing is a beach, but since you have plenty of those near by (by boat) we personally didn‘t miss anything at all. Will be back one day. Salamat :)

It started very bleakly without the right interpreter..and then Rosette turned the corner and took over everything. From that point on it was one of the most amazing experiences a group could possible have. Riding the waters and envisioning the approach of the dock and the island was breath taking.

The level of customer service was beyond belief and we were a group of 13. One can say the cuisine was FABULOUS and along with great food there were many more amenities.

Yes, we're already planning our next trip and we plan to bring more of our friends.

Thanks so much for an unforgettable retreat.

Room tip: I liked the second floor....

This review is a little overdue. We stayed in Seahorse and Mangrove resort for 3 days on November. We arrived in El Nido at night and the staff welcomed us at El Nido bus station and took us to their port where we rode on a boat to the island. Since it was already night, we weren't able to enjoy the view towards the island. The place was amazing, it was isolated and it was so tranquil. The rooms are big for the price and it exceeded our expectation. Not much to do in the island though. You can take a hike to the peak of the hill and the views are picturesque. Their small port has an amazing view of Bacuit Bay; one has to step slowly as it's made up of bamboo and wood. The staff were absolutely helpful.
