When in PG, this is my go to place. Very nice with friendly staff. Food is excellent. You are right beside the beach with white sand. Ask to speak with Mhel, she is the best and can help you with anything. She speaks excellent English.

Room tip: Ask for Mhel

Stayed here for 3 days and 2 nights, and it simply wasnt enough. I meant it to be a quick stopover in between more destinations, but after i left, it felt like i wouldve been happy if i stayed my entire vacation here. Perfect relaxing island vibe and hospitality. Unbeatable distance to a prime beach in Puerto Galera. Amazing restaurant and bar. Cannot say enough kind things about all involved with this resort. Spent long nights talking about life with the owner, who made me feel like one of her family, and who i will never forget, affectionately my "Tita" for life. I promise to be back someday soon for more Mojitos and meals!!!!

You couldn't do better than treating yourself to a few days (careful, you might want to stay longer) at Amami. Quietly situated away from the main tourist beach known as White Beach, Amami offers a quiet and relaxing alternative. Nestled in the palms and about 10 meters from the beach, Amami offers simple but comfortable accommodation in thatch covered bamboo and flax cottages. The restaurant is a satisfying mix kof Mediterranean and local cuisine, benefiting from the owner's 38 years living in Italy. English, Italian, French and Tagalog is spoken here so Euro visitors will feel quite at home. It's our second visit. I proposed to my partner so it was a very special stay. Salamat!

I think if the owner maintain the property a little bit better, it would improve the value of the property. We stayed in rm3, nice set up, however, the bathroom tap was not working, lots of broken area that were patched up but not done properly, the curtains were not measured correctly and the corners were filty, and the worst part was the shower head. It's possible that you only need to clean the shower head and the water will be in correct direction rather than at the moment the water goes in different direction and not where it should be.
The whole property was nicely set with different communal spaces for reading, or just chilling out. Love the tree space, with all the swing chairs.
Sad though we left a piece of clothing drying outside and when we came back it was gone.

Dear guest,
we appreciate the time you took to give your comment, we will surely check on the shower head to make sure that the water flows straight, we are sad to hear about your cloth , pls notice that on the beach is sometimes windy and we find clothes on the ground so possibly it is still at the reception, in general we encourage guests to communicate as much aspkossible with our front desk that does its best to solve 99% of the issues,
looking forward to see you again! :)

Amami was a quiet little haven a short trycile away from white beach. You can walk in the beach when the tide is out.

We booked two rooms, the tree house and a standard beach view room. The standard room had a fridge, but the tree house doesn't. The balcony outside the tree house used for massage daily so get the constant chat outside.

The breakfast was outstanding albeit slow. However it is worth the wait.

Our biggest disappointment was not actually being in the beach and no sunbeds on sand. It's more a pebble/shingle beach. The premises next door owns a stretch of land between amami and the beach.

Overall a comfy stay.
