Stayed in LLV for a week in late April 2021 - it was my third time in a resort in the span of a month and a half.
What can I say - I’m a huge fun.
The resort is run smoothly and efficiently which is not oftentimes the case in the Philippines. What I was most impressed by was the attention to details. A great minibar in the rooms, a super clean and frequently made up place, great facilities, and above all, super kind and extra friendly personnel. The food is on another level - was smashing the bubble and squeak every morning, followed by a sip of their really good coffee (a proper one, from the espresso coffee machine which is a must for me).
Still, what I love about the place the most is their dive shop. By far, one of the most organized dive shops I’ve ever dived with in the PH, and their attention to details is also on another level. They are professional, clean, friendly, good equipment, and they listen to the customer. What I also extra appreciate, is the professionalism that is never compromised despite befriending some of the clients. We all know that safety is an utmost priority when it comes to diving. But they also make it super fun. And that’s exactly how it should be.
Big props to Conan and his stuff (Ja, Ed, Jake, Rara, and all the boat crew) for making Puerto Galera and LLV Divers such a great experience that I will always gladly come back to every time I visit Puerto Galera.
From other people, I’d like to point out the kindness of Ms Princess (reception), Luke, Daniel, Andrew, and Jamie (management), kuya pogi Dex, Jessica, Cris, Rizza, Don (the bar personnel) and everyone else whose name I can’t remember at the moment.
See you all soon again!
