The team take care of everything, from transport to accommodation and of couse the diving.
They make me feel at home without pressure to pre-commit to a schedule. The dive spots are selected to suite the conditions of the day and maximise the variety. I chose to do the 9 am and 12noon dives each day and always see new things despite repeated visits. Dives varied from the iconic Canyons dive where large fish shelter from the nutrient rich current, to lazy drift dives on sloping coral reefs. Simon, Huw and John are very experienced guides who still show an infectious enthusiasm for spotting the various rare and beautiful marine creatures, from tiny pygmy seahorses to large sea turtles. Porcelain crabs hiding in anemones, a large variety of brightly coloured nudibranches, moray eels, and the masters of camouflage, scorpion fish, stone fish, leaf fish and frog fish. On our last dive we saw three of the rare green frog fish, probably because nobody had a camera on that dive.
Most dive sites are only a few minutes by boat from the shop, so the surface interval can be enjoyed back at your hotel poolside. Action Divers are right next to Out of the Blue Villas on Small Lalaguna Beach which is a fifteen minute walk from the nearest road which comes to the next bay. Jojo is always helpful looking after the gear, while owner Rosco does all the unseen work so everyone else can just enjoy the diving.
I would recommend a minimum stay of three days and usually stay for a week. There is so much variety that it takes a few dives to really appreciate it.
