This was my third time within 1 year at el galleon, as always , our stay was pleasant...all the staffs are courteous and very accommodating, the rooms are clean and prices are very reasonable, lastly, diving was always a blast with multiple fantastic dive sites to choose from coupled with very professional dive instructors and dive masters including all the boat men and their crews...will definitely be back..... christopher More

My brother planned this trip. He wanted his best friend's family and myself to join he and his wife for a diving Christmas vacation. Together, there were 8 of us. Eight travelers coming at a couple different times and several modes of travel to consider. The staff, Allison in particular, made sure we were able to navigate our way from an overnight stay in Manila, to the ferry in Batangas, then on to the resort. There were some complications which Allison quickly took care of and I felt very cared for the entire way.
But.....we were there to dive. And dive we did. Complete with a full dive shop, and very professional dive masters and guides, we completed several dives daily. The guides were quick to point out areas that may interest us. Randy went so far as to carefully pick through sea plants looking for microscopic shrimp. We all greatly appreciated all of the dive staff. My every need was met. This is the only dive resort on the beach that has their own dock and I found it helpful not having to slog through the beach. They boast a very organized place to stow your dive gear between dives. Pure perfection!
The restaurant staff are also very cognizant of who needs what and are quick to please. The housekeepers kept my room smelling fresh and clean in spite of the wet swimsuits I had hanging around.
I wish this place wasn't so far to get to (from Seattle) or I would surely come back next year.

Thanks so much for this thoughtful review of our property. We all really enjoyed having you with us over the holidays and spending lots of time submerged in our ocean paradise. Our dives guides have many years of experience and take pride to show you the most amazing marine life in the whole of Puerto Galera. The fact that we have everything available in the resort at your fingertips sure makes it easy to enjoy and relax during your vacation which is what we want folks to do here. Sabang is great for diving with coral, fish, turtles and wrecks for those who want more variety in the water. There are many dive centres in Sabang but many are a basic square block at the waterfront focussed just on giving access to the water, which is great if that is what you want.
El Galleon is a quick walk round the coast from the main town, this allows a much more pleasant aspect with a variety of rooms from simple to luxury ones with large balconies among the trees with some looking directly over the sea.
The dive manager was excellent in checking what guests were after and ensuring they got the right package and that it was going well. The communal area at the front was a great facility, providing a wide variety of food, drink and a pleasant space to relax looking out over the water.
Overall we found it a well run and friendly resort and would happily return.

A very atmospheric place with delicious cuisine and excellent organization of diving, from beginner to technical diver. Ride scooters underwater and zipline in the air. We have been visiting this place since 2008 and are always greeted like true friends.

Resort Staff and Management couldn't have made us feel more welcome. Fantastic restaurant with great food. Top Bar is the go to place after a days diving.
Dive sites are on average a 5 minute boat ride. The dive crew and staff are very professional. If you want 5 days a day, this is the place!

EVERY staff member associated with the resort and "Asia Divers" were just the best. They were all constantly friendly, obliging and very polite. If only all the people on this planet were like them.
The resort staff were ensuring that you had all that you required at all times. The food was really nice and plenty of it too.
The dive assistants and guides were truly magnificent in making sure everything was seamless. Not once did I have to handle a scuba tank. I've never had such impeccable service when diving. A really nice touch was the handing out of HOT face washers after getting back onto the boat after the dive.
I'd definitely stay there again without hesitation and a BIG "Thank you" to everyone.
