We were a group of 10 people and we booked a sightseeing to the terraces and a van to Manila for january 1 2019. That night I texted Mr Dale and he was totally drunk. He time me the van Was for 10 excluding lugage and told me that I needed a second van and therefore twice as much as initially agreed. Due to his speech and comprehension conditions I decided to call him in the morning. I told him we needed to go directly to Manila cancelling the
sightseeing as it Was terrible raining. I suggested trying to fit lugagge in one van and if not get the second one. Finally he decided to cancel the van even being aware if the fact that we needed to cathch a flight Next day in Manila. He even charged me for the jeepney for the excursión. Mr Dale didnt evento try yo help ud find the van he assured me the last day.It Was a totally bad faith action.

Breathtaking scenery, amazing treks, wonderful people. This place is truly amazing and we loved our overnight trip there. Can't recommend highly enough, especially if you stay at Batad View and Inn with Ramon.

It is the most amazing experience, the view and the friendly people are worth every step. There are no roads to the village or in the village. Everything is carried to the village, even every soda, it’s actually incredible. The last part of the travel to Batad is a walk for 20-30 min. It is worth paying locals to carry the backpack , you support the locals and if you are not in great shape you will need the help. The village Batad is amazing and a local guide will make the visit even more great. We took a two days hike around the village with the DOT accredited tour guide Lillian. The hiking in and around the village is not easy, take your time, but it’s worth it. I will never experience anything like it, I know for sure. Our guide Lillian Lahhin gave us a great insight of how they live their life, we realy appreciated that. On fb she is lillian.lahhin.7 and we recommend to book her in advance. She arrange hiking tours to the other villages as well, like Sagada and Vigan, and now after the trip I wish we had taken a longer trip with her. She also helped us with transportation back to Banaue when we left the village. Next time we will ask her for accommodations as well.

Just walked to the village, wasn't too hard, and I'm in terrible shape. Don't pay for parking, or too much for a guide, there's signs to some places. Worth the trip!
