The place can be sum up with these words: Zigzag road, long drive from Manila(6hrs+), fine white sand, crystal clear water, kid-friendly beach(long swimmable shore), very minimal waves, BUT TRASH IS ALMOST EVERYWHERE!
Our family went here last April 25, 2018 via car and it is a long drive for more than 6 hours. The road leading to the beach is quite long and zig-zaggy and too dark making it hard to navigate.
It is worth the trip once you get there while the sun slowly reveals the beauty of the beach.
Typical room with Air Condition can cost as minimum as 2,500 which can accommodate 2 or more people with 1 regular bed and an extra foam.
BEFORE YOU CHECK IN to any accommodation, please check first the seashore. There are parts that are filled with seaweeds (in case you if don't like it).
The beach is perfect for kids. Kids can swim up to 5 meters aways from the shore because it is shallow. The sea is also calm and have very minimal to no waves.
The shore is also filled with too much boat.
ALL IN ALL, Tambobong Beach in Dasol has a potential to rival some of the most beautiful beaches in Luzon. However, LOCALS SEEM TO NEGLECT ITS DUTY FOR WASTE MANAGEMENT AND IMPOSE STRICT RULES TO TOURIST TO KEEP THEIR TRASH AND DISPOSE IT PROPERLY.
YOU MIGHT BE SWAYED TO ONLINE PHOTOS ON THE INTERNET OF TAMBOBONG BEACH, DASOL, PANGASINAN BUT THERE ARE TRASH EVERYWHERE AND YOU MIGHT BE DISAPPOINTED.
PLEASE, IF YOU EVER WANT TO VISIT KEEP YOUR TRASH AND DISPOSE IT PROPERLY IN THE CITY AND ALSO APPREHEND OTHER TOURIST IN CASE YOU CAUGHT THEM THROWING TRASH.
