After reading & hearing so many good reviews, i decided to book this hotel for my 3 days trip to Jakarta. Yes, the hotel is artistic. Quite comfortable.
Room is quite clean, but i believe it can be improved. I noticed that the bedding is not changed everyday. Nespresso machine also need to be cleaned. When i open the tray to put capsule inside, there's leftover coffee powder stick on the edge.
Aircon isn't cool enough though it's 18c, or maybe it just takes very long to cool.
Not enough plug around the room, no plug inside the toilet, no hairdryer in the room, we have to request from operator for a haridryer. no plug anywhere near mirror (pretty hard for ladies to do hairstyling or even make up in the room because the lighting also quite dim). Breakfast is ok, can be improved as well. Overall i guess this hotel target is the business man traveller that just need stay to rest, but not really to enjoy.

Room tip: If you are a light sleeper, request room at higher level. We were at level 2 and wake up by the roosters crow at 5.

I was curious about this hotel because of several good opinions coming from my friends. I proved it when I visited Jakarta due to business/job reason. This 3 stars hotel was very crowded, and I directly knew that it should be caused by hotel's interior design; very unusual but interesting. Every corner is instragam-able. The room has unique interior. And every floor has its own theme.
(+) reasonable budget, amazing and unique interior design, good location (near food center, near atm/bank), various and delicious breakfast, nice staffs, hi-tech room facilities that you can't find in another hotel.
(-) limited parking area

Stayed here for 11 nights during December/January and found this place absolutely sensational! Located within walking distance to bars, fast food chains, local eateries and a cheap cabfare to jakarta's high end shopping malls.

Personally I love the street art themed rooms, iphone 5 docking station and the international power sockets came in handy.

We celebrated NYE on the rooftop bar with a private airconditioned cabana with 23 friends which the bar staff were exceptionally friendly!!

**Special mention to Donna who made the experience very memorable for us!!**

Room tip: if you're a couple then maybe get bigger room.. as a single i didnt need much space but a couple would benefit with that extra bit of room.

Mesmerized by the fantastic ambience! For art lovers, perfect place to stay. Different themes in different rooms. The bed is awesome. Toiletries are complete. You dont need to pack anything. Room service food is fantastic. I really like the Nasi Goreng Kemangi - simply delish! Staff are all friendly and the room is really clean. Enjoyed every minute of my stay there.
