Since we had our wedding reception at the Melia back in march 2014 (which went awesome, by the way), hubby thought it would be cool to celebrate our 2nd anniversary also at this hotel. So he booked for us, the same exact wedding suite. He also had yellow roses, my favourite flowers, decorated the suite entirely which the hotel followed suit which was really nice. Worth to note that everyone at the hotel seemed to recognise us as "that special couple who are celebrating their wedding anniversary" :D
Anyway, romance aside. Access to the exclusive suite club (was it Red Glove?) proved to be great, lots of foods with excellent presentation, quality wine, great sincere service. The pool is smallish but sufficient but the accompanying music was lousy 90s organ acoustic (meh). Pillow was incredibly hard. AC was set way way too low, we were freezing most of the time - the temperature control in living room didn't work :( Breakfast - yum! So many choices of world cuisine and they all taste authentic which is quite a rarity at international hotels as they usually tone down the spices. So 2 thumbs up, Melia!
All in all, a great stay. Stay here if you want to be near Kuningan, great food, excellent service.More
