I’ve been for brunch and dinner and the service has been impeccable. Staff are so friendly and they make an effort to ensure you are happy. The food is great, pasta is the best I’ve tried in Jakarta so far, steak is superb and the brunch food has a great variety. Definitely will be a local of mine during my stay. Thanks Kebir and Daud for the hospitality.

I've been to Pantja a few times now, in large groups as well as small groups. Pantja's concept is that of a restaurant serving modern farm to table fare using locally sourced Indonesian ingredients. If you prefer to dine at restaurants where you pay a few bucks and walk out with an extremely full stomach, then this is not the place to go.

The a la carte menu is quite classy. The Pantja fried chicken - their signature chicken - is very nice blend of savoury with some heat in it, deep fried and yet juicy inside. The Pantja burger was a bit small for my liking - I expected it to be... bigger. Nevertheless, the burger was juicy, the bun was soft, and accompaniments along with the burger patty add to the overall deliciousness.

The lobster roll was perhaps the softest I've had, and the lobster was sweet - I just wish this wasn't an appetiser, and an actual fully loaded sandwich! The zucchini blossoms, stuffed with ricotta, are a perfect combination of a crunchy exterior with soft, savoury insides.

I've also had the weekend brunch, and it's one of the best I've had, hands down. The buttermilk biscuits with sausage gravy (savoury), and salted butter and jam (sweet), are hands down the best you'll get in Indonesia. I ordered mine with a side of pastrami, which went really well with the grilled bread. Do also try the Belgian waffle with the Pantja fried chicken if you haven't had a chance to have their fried chicken - you won't regret it! :)

The music playlist is perfect all day and night. Lots of soul, groovy beats with some good hip hop vibes to accompany the amazing food. All ingredients were fresh and of excellent quality. The drinks were all very tasty and bar area looks very classy with the dome shaped ceilings high above. Overall a great place to hang out or spend some quality time with loved ones.

The menu was not much but it was well balanced between pasta, rice, meat, vegetables. Food was good but not great that I want to be back again. Considering the price also it's a bit over valued. Waiters were all nice and helpful, also love the lay back ambience.

Mixed feelings about this place - the first visit was for the bar only, second for dinner in the restaurant, third for the bar again. Really appreciate the bar, but cannot recommend the restaurant.

The good stuff:
- Great decor and awesome ambiance
- Skilled bartenders
- DJ with a great music taste
- Very original cocktails
- Food presentation is excellent

The not so good stuff:
- Food taste blunt lacks spices, only liked one out of 6 meals we tried
- Food prices outrageous, considering the quality
- Confused waiters

Bar 5/5, restaurant 2/5. New place, so maybe will get better over time, but really need to have a better chef, better-trained personnel and have some reasonable prices to be successful and last for long.
