The only reason this hotel is getting a 4 bubble rating and not 3 is purely due to Eric, one of the managers who was onsite when I checked in. He deserves all the praise!
Let me set the scene. My party and I arrive at the hotel after midnight. We are exhausted and want nothing more than to crawl into bed. I have an extra person with me so I ask if there's either a larger room I can upgrade to or a cot that I can rent. The front desk reception was no help whatsoever. I will admit it was made harder due to the language barrier. Enter Eric, who took in the situation and acted immediately to upgrade us to a larger room plus an extra cot, at a discounted price. He personally escorted us up to our room, made sure we had everything we needed (extra robes, slippers, bedding etc etc) and called the next morning to check in on us. Thank you!
The hotel itself is average. Clean and standard. Nothing that stands out but our overall stay was pleasant.
The location, however, is the great. Within walking distance to Prince Edward subway station and various local markets, restaurants and eateries.More
