I decided to try their roasted lamb since their Chinese BBQ Lamb was reasonably good during my first visit, but I ended up being disappointed. It was re-fried lamb. Not good. I ordered some BBQ bread and BBQ potato chips they were also bad. BBQ lamb and onion scallops are a good suggestion.

My partner and I decided to give this place a try. The fresh juices were delicious and the menu looked promising.
My partner decided to try dumplings which at least had to come in an order of triplets so 12 all up and we couldn't mix and match. May have been a mis- communication as only one waitress spoke broken English. In addition the vegetable pancakes which tasted delicious.
I ordered the grandmas beef which was a form of stew that was quite fatty but tasty.
It may be the style of cooking but everything was quite fatty. The fantastic vegetables were truly fantastic and trumped the lot.
I ordered a dark beer that had great taste and a nice finish.
Toilets were clean and it was great to see the sea food out back. Sadly the service was slow and empty plates and glasses weren't cleared up and we waited long for small additions such as rice.
Not our best experience in Beijing but okay on a medium budget.

we were on a private tour and our lunch was included, our tour guide wasn't allowed to eat at our table, so we sat in this dingy room upstairs no one spoke English, sat at table with the tablecloth all ripped and stained, yuk!! then the food came out i m allergic to seafood so I had it translated and showed it to them, we had eaten out on private tours so we knew what to expect, first some soup then some meat . then vegetables , rice , fruits and a soft type drink, always more than you really eat, some horrible soup arrived, then some ok pork, and some not great rice, we sat and waited, the waiter kept looking at us, we tried to ask anymore dishes ? eventually we found our guide, and told him and he spoke to the waiters, and 3 other dishes arrived, but that was with a 30/40 min wait from the first dish, our guide said he would wait , but really it was using up our tour time so we left, only time in our 3 weeks holiday that we felt disappointed, not recommended, unless u can speak the language, and what we ate we did nt rave over!!!
