This is the yummiest place for dumplings with I believe over a choice of 100 different types of dumplings. They are made fresh on site & you can see them making them. The chocolate & banana dumplings are yum. There are many westerners who eat there too. There is a girl who speaks English too which helps as very Chinese speak English. An easy place to get dinner.

Tried four types of dumplings: servings come per twelve, but you cab combine two types in a 6/6 serving. Dumplings were great with a lot (100+) of different types to choose from. Also had the spinach salad on the side, which, to be honest, was even better than the dumplings.

Ate for c. 200 RMB including a few drinks, and, in contrary to other reviewers, had quite a lot of Chinese guests when we were there.

Small place and a little tough to find. Hidden in a hutong. Made to order dumplings, noodles, veggies and cold beer. We ordered:
• Boiled pork with Chinese chives - great
• Boiled pork with green chilies – delicious and a great combination!
• Fried chicken with cilantro – a little greasy but very good
• Boiled curry beef – not good, we did not enjoy these
The décor is covered with currency and signatures from travelers around the world. Enjoyed lunch here and were glad that we found it. Keep in mind that you are there for the made to order dumplings and not the service. Take time on your trip and enjoy delicious dumplings!

We stayed in the nearby courtyard 7 and happened on this place by TripAdvisor. Wow. The dumplings are amazing. In fact all the dishes we tried are crazy good. It feels like my Chinese grandmother is in the kitchen cooking for us and I'm not even Chinese ;)
We are here 3 times and when we are away we rarely eat in a place more than twice so we can taste more of what the country has to offer
