The day we arrived it was pouring and flooding, but for us the sun shone. The muddy trails for our game drive was so great....saw many animals and had a blast with our driver, Benedict, who was remarkable, never got stuck and clearly was very experienced. Your lucky if you get him. The camp itself is beautiful, good food, great service, and the accommodations were lovely, comfortable and clean. All the staff here are exceptionally attentive. The only complaint is the tents are quite close to each other and therefore you can hear your neighbours.

Room tip: Tents overlooking the plains are spectacular.

We recently spent two nights here and loved it. The service was great and the food for all meals was fabulous. The setting with views of the Masai Mara is incredible. We did not have a front row cabin, but then we were not in the room all that much. We always seemed to be on a game drive or eating! We did not use the spa or the pool. It was a little bumpy to get there from the private airstrip, but so worth it.

We spent two days at this incredible oasis and resort place. Fantastic food, service, and resort rooms helped us feel like we were well taken care of, safe, and right there in the middle of an African wildlife preserve - because we were! The buffet for dinner and lunch were incredible and we would highly recommend this place. In the evening, some of the Maasai warriors came out the public firepit and did dances and singing in traditional African or Kenyan style. It was awesome. We will never forget our stay here!

We booked a honeymoon safari with &Beyond-Kichwa Tembo. From the moment we stepped off the plane were driven to the camp and saw animals I only ever saw in the the zoo or on TV, arrived and then greeted by all the staff, I knew this was going to be an amazing experience for us. We booked the Superior View Tent and even though this cost more it was well worth it, it's hard to describe the feeling of watching the sun rise over the savannah with a cup of coffee in your hand. Our guide Annie was absolutely brilliant and took us out on our first ever drive that evening, sharing her knowledge and passion for the animals and always ready to answer any questions and most importantly her humour and personality. Gideon our room attendant always had the room made up and personalised it with lovely touches every day. Yiallel our waiter at every turn ensured that we would have special memories organising special lunches for us and night time dinners, (Asante Sana Yiallel) that were excellently prepared by chef George. As experiences go it was one of the best of our lives and we have amazing special memories from it. If you want to book a safari in Kenya (especially if you are on honeymoon like us) stay here! The service, the food, the animals and most importantly the people are all brilliant!

Room tip: Go for the superior view tent...its worth every penny

The whole experience was unforgettable. They place is beautiful and the people really did go above and beyond to make our honeymoon special. Our guide Lorna was fantastic and we learnt so much about the animals from her (and we were lucky enough to see the big 5). Our butler Yiallel and Titus were very accommodating and looked after our every need. The food was always so tasty, we looked forward to every meal. You cannot beat waking up to the beautiful sunset with a coffee every morning. I would highly recommend the superior view tent !

Room tip: Superior Rooms have the best view
